‘Digital Money‘ Statement From One Of The World’s Largest Banks “The new digital currency could become widespread within two years,” said Deutsche Bank, one of the world’s largest banks.
Germany-based investment bank Deutsche Bank has announced in its third cryptocurrency report that a new digital currency could be used “widely” over the next two years, combining the ease of electronic payments and the privacy of cash payments.
The Deutsche Bank report also stated that central banks could open accounts that would generate earnings for all, while commercial banks “would not have to attack banks.”
Last week, European Central Bank (ECB) board member Francois Villeroy de Galhau said “currencies cannot be hidden and therefore central banks should be in control of digital currencies rather than private companies.
