Old Coinbase CTO: Bitcoin Can Reach $ 100.000!
Balaji S. Srinivasan, one of the largest crypto exchanges in the world, ex-CTO of Coinbase and one of the industry’s well-known names, has established an interesting link about Bitcoin (BTC) price and Coronavirus outbreak.
Is There a Connection Between Bitcoin and Coronavirus?
Srinivasan stressed that it is much more likely and imminent for Bitcoin to rise to as much as $ 100,000 because it exceeds $ 10,000. In making this prediction, the former CTO, interestingly, also linked it to the spread of his Coronavirus.
As can be read in the tweet at the bottom, CTO stated that many people estimate that the virus will not reach 100.000 people and that this has become much more likely after the 10,000 people limit has been exceeded.
Accepting that the dynamics of crypto money prices and the rate of epidemic spread are different, Srinivasan also stated that they have something in common. Emphasizing that they both went through probabilistic processes, the former CTO explained that this process was uncertain for both elements at first and that $ 10,000 added a great deal of clarity.
In 2009, it was unlikely that BTC would cross $100k. But conditional on BTC having *already crossed* $10k, it was more likely to cross $100k.
On Dec 1, 2019 it was unlikely the virus would cross 100k cases. But having *accelerated* past 10k, it was more likely to cross 100k. pic.twitter.com/XzFvxKZbEC
