Anti-Netanyahu demonstrations continue in Israel
Anti-Netanyahu demonstrations continue in Israel The Israelis held a demonstration in front of the Prime Ministry residence in West Jerusalem, demanding that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu resigned due to a corruption case against him.
Thousands of people attended the demonstration organized by the group known as “Black Flags” in front of the Prime Ministry residence in West Jerusalem.
Demonstrators who demanded Netanyahu’s resignation due to a corruption case against him opened banners written “crime prime minister” on it.
Some of the demonstrators said that if there was no police intervention, they would spend the night in tents they plan to set up near the Prime Ministry residence.
Due to the increasing unemployment and corruption cases in Israel because of the Covid-19 outbreak, the increase in anti-Netanyahu demonstrations is remarkable.
Thousands of people attended the demonstration in Tel Aviv on July 11, on the grounds that the Netanyahu government did not provide sufficient assistance to sectors affected by the Covid-19 outbreak.
Under the leadership of Black Flags, a demonstration was held on July 14 in front of the Prime Ministry residence in West Jerusalem, again with the participation of thousands of people.
After the demonstration, there was a scuffle between protesters and police who blocked some roads and 50 people were detained.
