China Plans To Send A Delegation To The US
China Plans To Send A Delegation To The US The Chinese trade delegation plans to send a delegation to Washington to sign the first-stage trade agreement on January 15th.
The sources, who preferred to remain anonymous because of the secrecy of the matter, reported that the plan had been sent to Deputy Prime Minister Liu He for signing. The delegation will be in Washington on January 13-15, the sources said.
Those dates were also reported in the South China Morning Post earlier. The delegation had originally planned to travel to Washington earlier this month, but they delayed the plans when US President Donald Trump tweeted that the deal would be signed at the White House on January 15, SCMPun reported.
According to the news in the newspaper, both sides completed the first stage agreement by January, but China did not expect Trump to unilaterally provide details of the date and place of the agreement.
Neither the Chinese Commerce Ministry nor the Chinese Foreign Ministry made any comment on the matter.
