Coinbase Is Up To A New Crew
Crypto currency exchange Coinbase is interested in the engineering team of a start-up. On October 5, TechCrunch, a technology news source, reported plans to hire the engineering team of the American-based crypto-exchange Coinbase, the Ripple-backed storage and rental start-up, Omni’s Rentals. On the other hand, Coinbase will reportedly use its engineering team to further develop the Coinbase Earn training platform, which is currently available in more than 100 countries.
This platform, which was first launched in December, allows users to make crypto money by making reviews. In addition, a spokesperson on behalf of Coinbase said that no agreement has been reached with the start-up and that there is no official situation to be explained.
According to TechCrunch, Omni’s Rentals can’t do a good job because there aren’t many people on the platform who are interested in renting or borrowing. Although the start-up enterprises made various initiatives to manage themselves, the expected success was not achieved.
Omni Rentals received $ 25 million from Ripple in early 2018.
Coinbase, on the other hand, became the world’s largest storage company with a step taken in August. On August 15, it was announced that Coinbase Custody purchased the corporate storage service of Xapo, the crypto currency company.
