Reactions continue against US President Joe Biden, who was criticized after the decision to withdraw from Afghanistan and the bomb attacks in this process.
The “F*ck Joe Biden” chants have become a trend at some of the American football matches played between universities in the USA.
According to the Independent’s report, the audience, mostly students, gave these cheers at the game played between South Carolina Military University and Coastal Carolina University on September 2.
The next day, the audience cursed US President Biden at the University of North Carolina-Virginia Tech University match.
The trend was also reflected in the matches played on September 11th and September 12th. “F*ck Joe Biden” sounds were heard in the stands during Saturday’s fight between Alabama State University and Auburn University.
Former US President Donald Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr. spoke on the subject Saturday. Saying that he thinks the cheers will continue, Trump Jr. claimed that the Biden administration was in a very bad shape and that the press could not hide it:
“I can count a lot of bad things that happened in Afghanistan. Leaving $65 million-$80 million worth of equipment to our enemies, giving them lists of American citizens, seizing biometric devices, withdrawing soldiers before civilians… the list goes on.”
The Washington Post and USA News poll conducted in early September revealed that 44 percent of respondents were satisfied with Biden’s performance. This rate was 50 percent in June.
The rate of those who did not approve of Biden increased by 9 percent to 51 percent.
