While support for US President Joe Biden has waned in a series of polls in the USA, the poll released by RealClearPolitics this week revealed that the number of people who approve of Biden is in danger of falling below 42 percent.
After the polls, former US President Donald Trump said in a written statement, “The Covid-19 pandemic is getting out of control. Our supply chain is collapsing with a small number of products in our stores. We were humiliated in Afghanistan; our border is a complete disaster; and gas prices and inflation are skyrocketing. How is Biden doing? Do you miss me yet?”
Support for Biden is decreasing
Americans express their disapproval of President Joe Biden, who has been in office for about 9 months. According to the news in VOA, in a series of surveys conducted last week, 49.2 percent of the participating voters did not approve of Biden’s way of running the presidency, while 44.5 percent did.
Five of the latest polls on RealClearPolitics showed that the country’s 46th president was disapproved, while three showed high support for Biden.
Analysts say the decline in Biden’s reputation is rapid, especially among independent voters who helped him win last year’s election.
In July, when he completed six months in the presidency, Biden had a nine-point advantage. But polls at the end of August showed that US voters were evenly divided in their opinion of Biden.
