According to a new report of Wall Street Journal, Donald Trump called Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi as his “favourite dictator”, with the participation of American and Egyptian officials like US Treasury secretary Steven Mnuchin, along with then-national security adviser John Bolton, Egyptian minister of foreign affairs Sameh Shoukry, and Egypt’s chief of general intelligence service, Abbas Kamel, who had come together inside the Hotel du Palais in Biarritz, France on the occasion of this year’s G7 summit.
It is reported that Mr Trump said “Where is my favourite dictator?” in a loud voice in the room where the participants met the comment with stunned muteness.
