Emmerich wants Berry for “Moonfall”

Hollywood director Roland Emmerich (“Independence Day” series) wants to get Oscar winner Halle Berry in front of the camera for his next project. Berry is said to play a major role in the sci-fi disaster film “Moonfall” alongside Josh Gad, as the US industry gazettes “Hollywood Reporter” and “Variety” reported.
In “Moonfall”, the moon is carried out of its orbit by mysterious forces and races towards Earth. So, A colorful team of rescuers is sent into space to avert the catastrophe. Berry is said to be an ex-astronaut, Gad a scientist who predicted the catastrophe. Therefore, Filming is planned for autumn in Montreal, Canada, if the coronavirus regulations allow it, it is said.
After joint scripts for the films “10,000 BC” and “2012”; Emmerich and co-author Harald Kloser also wrote the script for “Moonfall”.
