Iran Agreed To Open Two Nuclear Facilities To IAEA
The visit of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) President Rafael Grossi to Iran witnessed an important opening. Accepted by President Hassan Rouhani and Foreign Minister Javad Zarif, Grossi made a joint statement with Ali Akbar Salihi, President of the Iran Atomic Energy Authority. In a statement about two old and secret nuclear facilities, which were raised on suspicion, it was announced that Iran agreed to open these facilities to IAEA auditors.
Access Permit For Two Facilities
“Iran has voluntarily allowed access to IAEA inspectors to inspect the two sites and to facilitate the verification of the country’s nuclear program based on IAEA protocols, and mutual understanding and trust within the frameworks of boosting mutual cooperation.”, Grossi-Salihi jointly stated.
According to the news in Sputnik, it was stated in the statement that the IAEA has no other questions for Iran and requests to access places other than those announced by Tehran.
Iranian state television also announced in Rouhani’s meeting with Grossi that he expressed his satisfaction to further cooperation with IAEA.
