The bodies found are claimed to belong to those who died from Covid-19.
It is stated that many people who could not afford the high funeral prices lately left their bodies to the river.
According to local media reports, funeral wages in the country have increased 4 times, especially with the increase in Covid deaths.
However, speaking about these allegations, state government spokesman Navneet Sehgal denied the news.
Sehgal underlined that he is sure that the bodies found on the banks of the river are not related to Covid-19.
