Rolls-Royce Will Give £2,000 to its UK employees

Rolls-Royce, a luxury automobile company, has decided to assist its employees in England, one of the nations imposing the most severe sanctions on Russia, citing the Ukraine operation, but where the rising cost of living is becoming increasingly apparent.

Rolls-Royce will offer a one-off £2,000 to workers and non-senior executives at Derby and Bristol factories due to the high cost of living.

70 percent of the employees will benefit from this support, in the first stage, 3 thousand employees will be paid and if they accept, 11 thousand unionized workers will receive the same amount.

In the country, where inflation reached 9 percent in April with the effect of the increase in energy and food prices, the highest level of the last 40 years, the Central Bank also increased the policy rate for the 5th time since December 2021.
