Russian journalist,who detained in Iran released.
Russian journalist Yuliya Yuzik, who was detained in Iran’s capital Tehran, was reportedly released and returned to Moscow.
Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanai was called to the Russian Foreign Ministry in connection with the Russian journalist Yuliya Yuzik, whose passport was seized last week at the Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran, then detained by the Revolutionary Guards at the hotel where she stayed.
Some foreign media reports claimed that Yuzik was detained on the charge of espionage.
Iranian Government spokesman Ali Rebii, said in a statement Monday, Yuzik’s detention is not related to the spy case, the visa is due to violations and said the issue would be concluded in a short time.
