Striking Confession From North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un stated that the country is facing the worst period. “We are facing the worst period, we have to overcome. Despite countless challenges, improving the living standards of the people depends on the organizations of the party.” said Kim.
THEY HAVE REPORTED THERE IS NO CORONAVIRUS CASE
North Korean officials stated to the World Health Organization (WHO) that there were no new types of coronavirus (Covid-19) cases in the country.
In North Korea, where the fight against the virus is considered “a matter of national existence”, officials stated in the latest report submitted to WHO that no one across the country has Covid-19.
WHO’s North Korea Representative Edwin Salvador stated that 23,121 people have been tested across the country since the beginning of the epidemic, 732 of them in the period 26 March-1 April, and all test results obtained are negative. It was noted that the numbers of how many people were quarantined with suspicion of Covid-19 in North Korea were not shared with WHO.
North Korea announced yesterday that it will not participate in the Tokyo Olympics to protect its athletes from the Covid-19 outbreak.
