The US is speaking about the couple who were sued for a comment they wrote to Google about a company.
Autumn Knepper and Adam Marsh, who live in Vancouver, Washington, wrote negative reviews to Google about a company that provides roofing services.
According to the news, the couple was not satisfied with the service they received and claimed that they were treated beyond the limits of courtesy by the employees, was sued. The company went to court alleging that Knepper and Marsh were running a smear campaign against them.
According to the news in NewsWeek, the company demands 112 thousand dollars from the couple in return for the loss.
Speaking to the country press after this development, Knepper claimed that he called the Executive Roofing Services office to find out how long it would take to repair a leak in the roof. However, he claimed that the receptionist on the other end of the phone had an extremely condescending attitude.
Knepper made the following statements in his statement;
“He refused to give me any information. He said I had to get it from the landlord. When I asked to speak to the manager, he laughed at me and hung up on me.”
In a statement, the company attorney underlined the allegation that the couple deliberately tried to harm the company by publishing one-star reviews.
