It was stated that a father who was influenced by the conspiracy theories of the far-right QAnon organization, which is among the most fervent supporters of former President Donald Trump in the USA, killed his two children.
It has been learned that 40-year-old Matthew Taylor Coleman, owner of a surf school in Santa Barbara, California, took his 2-year-old son and 10-month-old daughter to Rosarito, Mexico, and shot them in the chest with a harpoon gun.
The children’s bodies were discovered in a ditch at a farm near Rosarito on Monday. According to Mexican authorities, the father and his two children checked into a hotel in Rosarito on Saturday and left before dawn on Monday, and Coleman, who returned alone in the morning, checked out of the hotel.
‘Snake DNA In Their Mother Was Passed On To The Children’
Coleman, who was detained at the border checkpoint, told the FBI that he “thought his children had snake DNA and would turn into monsters when they grew up, so he had to kill them.”
According to court documents, the founder of the Lovewater surf school, who killed his two children, “Was enlightened by the conspiracy theories of QAnon and the Illuminati. According to these conspiracy theories, a reptilian race that disguised themselves as humans was trying to take over the world. He believed his wife, A.C. had snake DNA and had passed it down to their children. He said he received visions and signs that showed him.” He added that, “He knew what he was doing was wrong, but he had to take the only action that would save the world.”
His Wife Had Reported Him To The Police
Coleman’s wife reported to Santa Barbara police on Saturday that while the family was preparing to go camping, her husband suddenly drove off with the kids in the family’s van.
Coleman’s wife stated that she did not know where he was going and he did not respond to text messages, but she did not believe the children were in danger. She added that, she had no problems with her husband and they did not argue before her husband left with the kids.
