The 31-year-old man, who fell from the 9th floor of a building in the city of Jersey, in the US state of New Jersey, on top of a parked luxury vehicle, survived.
In the incident that took place last Wednesday, eyewitnesses stated that they heard a sound and scream similar to an explosion, and then they saw the man falling on the luxury vehicle in the direction of the sound.
Jersey City Spokesperson Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione said the man fell from an open window on the 9th floor and is in critical condition. While it is not yet known why the man fell from the building, the police launched an investigation into the incident.
The man didn’t work inside building and it was unclear why he was there, workers and witnesses said. He has refused to give cops his name and was not being cooperative as of Thursday afternoon, according to a source familiar with the case.
In the footage recorded by the bystanders, it was seen that the man was lying on the pavement and one arm was broken. It was seen that the man wanted to get up from the ground, but tried to persuade the people around to stay on the ground and wait for the ambulance. The vehicle on which the man fell was unusable.
