According to weekly data released by oilfield services company Baker Hughes, the number of oil rigs in the US fell by 3 to 180 in the week of August 22-28 compared to the previous week.
As a result, the number of oil drilling rigs in the country has decreased by a total of 562 in the last 1 year.
The barrel price of Brent oil, which closed at $ 45.60 on Thursday, closed at $ 45.87 on Friday. The barrel price of West Texas (WTI) type crude oil closed Friday at $ 42.96. WTI finished Thursday at $ 43.04.
