Turkish doctor hired a hit man in the USA
Carrying out studies on the treatment of coronavirus in the United States, Dr. Serhat Gümrükçü was arrested in 2018 on charges of involvement in murder by hiring a hit man.
Co-founder of “Enochian BioSciences” based in Los Angeles, Dr. Serhat Gümrükçü (39) and the company’s Information Technologies Director Berk Eratay (35) were arrested on charges of hiring a hitman for the murder of a person named Gregory Davis. In the statement made by the US Department of Justice, it was stated that Gregory Davis was kidnapped and killed from his home in the state of Vermont and his body was found kilometers away on January 7, 2018, with his hands tied and a bullet to his head and chest.
In the first months of the investigation, two Americans named Jerry Banks and Lee Ethridge were arrested on charges of kidnapping Davis and committing the murder, and finally, Gümrükçü and Eratay were arrested for instigating the murder. It is still unclear what kind of relationship the two Turks have with Davis. The Turks, who were arrested in the first hearing they were brought out, are expected to face life imprisonment if found guilty.
