WhatsApp decision from Google
Internet giant Google has made a change closely related to WhatsApp and Instagram users within Facebook.
After the Coronavirus outbreak, many companies continue to take steps to change user habits.
The US-based technology company Google has taken a step closely related to millions of WhatsApp and Instagram users.
As it is known, the company was backing up photos and videos of users on Instagram and WhatsApp within Google Photos.
Google announced that it will stop automatic WhatsApp and Instagram backup.
According to the same statement, users who want to perform the backup operation will not be able to benefit from the automatic service, they will have to do this themselves.
Google is thought to have made this decision due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Because, along with the epidemic, many digital platforms, including Google, made certain decisions to control internet traffic.
In recent months, Google had decided to downgrade the video service YouTube’s image quality.
Another digital content provider, Netflix, chose to reduce quality.
